An advanced presentation that goes in depth on DNA and the DNA process. After this course you will understand each of the laboratory processes and the steps taken to generate a DNA profile.

    ● DNA Data and Interpretation (Advanced Level)

What does the electropherogram tell you? This course will cover topics such as understanding the DNA profile, determining the quality of the data, and assessing the number of persons that could have contributed DNA to the profile.

    ● DNA Transfer, Persistence, Prevalence and Recovery (TPPR) (Introductory Level)

Transfer is a hot topic in the forensic DNA realm. Take a dive into research conducted on transfer DNA and its implications.

    ● Case/Court Preparation

You have a new case, are you prepared? What case information should you request? Do you know what to look for as you review the case? When do you need to hire an expert? What questions should be asked? Get tips on how to properly prepare!
